Alfapass
What is Alfapass?
The Alfapass is an electronic identity card that stores personal and company information, along with a photo and biometric data. This card was developed by Alfapass cvba to simplify and accelerate access control to terminals and port facilities, as required by ISPS regulations.
Important: The Alfapass card does not grant automatic access to port facilities or terminals. Access must be approved by the facility operator. However, the card significantly speeds up and simplifies the access procedure.
Pick Up Your Alfapass in Zeebrugge
In Zeebrugge, the Alfapass is issued by APZI.
Appointments for Alfapass collection in Zeebrugge can only be made through the online booking system.
The employee’s company must first submit the application via the Alfapass website (www.alfapass.be).
After completing the formalities and payment, the applicant will receive a notification confirming that the employee can collect the Alfapass card at APZI.
The employee must appear in person with a valid proof of identity (ID card or passport).
The following documents are not accepted: driver’s license, temporary electronic residence cards, or the itsme® app.

The Havenbus
The Havenbus transports employees working in the Port of Zeebrugge directly to their place of employment.
Transportation is available from the city centers of Bruges, Blankenberge, Knokke-Heist, and Ostend.
The bus is accessible to anyone who works in the Port of Zeebrugge in any capacity.
Bookings are managed by the employer.
