Havenbus access is open to anyone working in the Port of Zeebrugge. Seats must be reserved in advance; boarding without a reservation is not possible, as the driver must have access to the booking details. Only the employer can reserve a seat on behalf of the employee.
- Reservations are handled by the employer, typically through the HR department.
- For temporary workers, reservations are made through the employment agency.
- For permanent employees, through the company itself.
- For part-time student workers, through the educational institution.
- Employers must first request a login in order to make individual reservations, via info@apzi.be.

Is your company not yet part of the Havenbus route? Get in touch with APZI to have your address added to the stop list. The only requirement is that the company is located in the Port of Zeebrugge
Invoices are always issued in the name of a company, staffing agency, or educational institution. At the end of each month, APZI prepares the invoice based on the reservations made. That’s why it’s important to ensure that all reservation data is accurate, for example, by canceling on time when needed.
When does The Havenbus operate?
The following timetable applies to the route between Bruges and the Port of Zeebrugge, and is valid on all weekdays. An additional bus may operate on Saturday morning to bring back night shift workers who started their shift on Friday.

*The Herdersbrug Dudzele stop is approximately 15 minutes after departure from Bruges Station.

Reservation Deadlines:
- By 6:00 PM the evening before for rides the next day.
- By 6:00 PM on Friday evening for Monday reservations.
Bruges Boarding Points
The Havenbus departs from the rear side of Bruges Station, at the Kiss & Ride area where the flex buses are located.
This station is centrally located and easily accessible by public transport.
If necessary, the Havenbus will stop at the Herdersbrug youth hostel in Dudzele before bringing all passengers back to the original pick-up point.
When does The Havenbus operate?

The bus from Ostend may stop in Bredene, De Haan, Wenduine, Blankenberge, and Zeebrugge, depending on reservations.

*Departure from Ostend is punctual.
- The bus will wait at the intermediate stop until the indicated time only if a reservation has been made. If no reservation is registered, the bus will proceed without delay.
- Advance reservation is mandatory!

The departure stop for the Havenbus in Ostend is the bus parking area on Mercatorlaan. From there, the bus makes five additional stops before reaching the Port of Zeebrugge. Below is an overview of the various stops:

Bredene: Across from the parking area near the tram stop 'Duinenplein'.
De Haan: Bus stop ' De Haan Aan Zee', Nieuwe Rijksweg
